HANOVER, N.H. – University of Maine-Farmington freshman Michael Boucher led Maine racewalkers to a sweep of the first four positions in the open and collegiate 1-mile race at the 38th Dartmouth Relays Sunday.
Boucher (6 minutes, 51.98 seconds) was followed by Boothbay High School’s Matthew Forgues (7:26.75), Lisbon High’s Tyler Campbell (7:39.44) and Scarborough High’s Taylor Burns (7:51.50).
Boucher qualified for the Milrose Games in New York as did Boothbay’s Lauren Forgues, who finished in 7:26.50 to win the women’s race. Christie Bernier of Edward Little in Auburn finished second (8:22.81) and Fiona McMahon of UMaine took third (8:26.52).
