ELLSWORTH – Corey DeWitt scored 17 points in the fourth quarter, including nine on 3-pointers and four on free throws, as Ellsworth rallied from a six-point deficit to knock off previously undefeated Mount Desert Island 59-52 in high school boys basketball action Tuesday night.
DeWitt, who finished with a game-high 32 points, nailed a three to put the Eagles ahead to stay halfway through the quarter.
Dem Katsiaficas tossed in 13 points and hauled down eight rebounds for Ellsworth.
Wes Chapman’s 14 points led the Trojans.
