HODGDON – Jennie Hare recorded a double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds to lead Hodgdon to a 57-46 high school girls basketball victory over Fort Fairfield Wednesday.

Brianne McGary had 13 points and five steals for the Hawks.

Kerri Cunningham led Fort Fairfield with 20 points.

At Brewer, Dylan Collins scored three goals and grabbed an assist to lead Presque Isle by Hampden Academy.

Jason Martin and Greg Cyr each netted a pair of goals while Brandon Daigle added one for Presque Isle. Ethan Hill made 14 saves on 16 shots for the Wildcats.

Mike Meurkas and DJ Duplissis each scored a goal for Hampden. Matt Albert made 36 saves on 44 shots for the 0-7 Broncos.

At East Machias, Chris Wood scored 13 of his 17 points in the second half to lead Washington Academy past Machias.

Joey Hunter had 17 points and 16 rebounds for Washington Academy and Jeff Ramsdell scored all 12 of his points in the second half. Ben Teer and Mike Von Rotz scored 10 points apiece.
