ROCKLAND – Police arrested Casey Collins, 22, of Rockland and charged him with burglary and violation of probation on Friday.

Rockland Deputy Chief Wally Tower said police believe Collins is responsible for breaking into the Brass Compass restaurant Dec. 17. A cash register was taken from the restaurant.

Collins had a connection with the restaurant, Tower said. Collins was apprehended in Lincolnville with the help of that town’s police chief, Bill Labombarde.
