Polar Bears edge Cougars

BRUNSWICK – Andrew Sargeantson scored 16 points and grabbed eight rebounds to help lead Bowdoin College past Clark University 71-66 in men’s college basketball action Monday.

Jordan Fliegel had a double-double with 15 points and 13 rebounds for the Polar Bears, and Kyle Jackson (12 points, 10 rebounds) also had one. Andrew Hippert added 14 points.

Byron Roberts had 18 points and Pat Landers scored 17 for the Cougars of Worcester, Mass.
