BANGOR – Nikki Yawn bowled her first 300 game, and the first one turned in by a female bowler since 2001, at Family Fun Lanes Friday night. Yawn, a 21-year-old from Bangor, was competing on the Who’s Buying? in the Friday Night Mixed Couples League. She bowled her 300 in the first string and followed that with strings of 222 and 238 for a 760 total.
