Following is how the $21 million in taxes generated at Hollywood Slots has been divided up:

. Revitalization of harness racing industry: $3,543,235 to supplement harness racing purses at commercial harness racing tracks and agricultural fairs; $1,062,970 for additional purses for special “sire stakes” races for horses bred at Maine’s Standardbred horse farms; $1,062,970 to support Maine’s 24 agricultural fairs; $1,417,294 to help defray operating costs and allow for improvements at Maine’s commercial harness racing track.

. Prescription drug assistance for the elderly and disabled: $3,543,235.

. Scholarships for Maine students: $708,647 for the University of Maine System; $354,323 for the Maine Community College System.

. Maine Gambling Control Board: $1,062,970 for administrative costs and gambling addiction programs.

. City of Bangor: $1,604,649.

. State General Fund: $6,245, 189 for state administrative expenses.
