LEE – Calais scored 12 unanswered points to open the second half and went on to earn its 37th consecutive victory over the last two seasons with a 75-60 high school boys basketball victory over Lee Academy Tuesday.
Lee led 31-30 at halftime, but Robbie Rogers scored eight points in the third quarter to help the defending Class C state champs take a 51-41 lead.
Lee scored the first five points of the fourth quarter to pull within 51-46, but Brandon Tomah scored 11 of his game-high 25 points – including three of his five 3-pointers -in the final period to help the Blue Devils preserve the win.
Rogers, Chris Taylor and Sam Bell each added 13 points for Calais, with Taylor adding 10 rebounds. Cal Shorey grabbed a team-high 11 rebounds for the Blue Devils.
Devan Parker paced Lee with 18 points and 11 rebounds, while Peter Pickering scored 14 and Sydney Surratt added 11.

Ciomei began the night 14 points of 1,000, and reached the milestone with a shot from the baseline after grabbing an offensive rebound during the third quarter.
