Used book sale
The Friends of the Orono Public Library are collecting used books through the end of January for its upcoming book sale. Book donations are being collected at the library on Goodridge Drive.
All kinds of books and audio visual materials in usable condition would be most appreciated, except for Reader’s Digest Condensed books, outdated computer manuals and incomplete or obsolete encyclopedia sets.
The sale will be held 9 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, at the library. It will feature books, baked goods and hot homemade soups and breads. All proceeds benefit the library, especially children’s programming. Call 866-5060 for more details.
