ORONO – Orono Community Theatre presents the pot-boiler mystery, Agatha Christie’s “Murder on the Nile,” at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Feb. 2 and 3, and 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 4, at the Keith Anderson Community House, 19 Bennoch Road.

An assorted cast of suspicious characters cruises down the Nile River, while Canon Pennefather, played by Telly Coolong, attempts to unravel the mystery of the murder of the beautiful young aristocrat played by Hannah Cyrus. Everyone has a motive for murder – the jilted lover, the resentful servant, the closeted socialist, and even the radical parson himself.

Directed by Laura Kenefic, with set and lighting design by Edwin Nagy, the cast includes David Dauphinee, Mark Bilyk, Meg Haskell, Gillian Hall, Greta Landis, Patrick Molloy, Destiny Winters, Elmer Baxter, Analies Ross-Dyjak and Hannah Stafford, all of Orono, and Tyler Costigan of Milford.

Tickets are $10, $6 for students and seniors, are available at the Orono Pharmacy and at the door. For more information, call Orono Parks & Recreation at 866-5065.
