BANGOR – Deon Cherrs recorded 21 points, four steals, and four assists to lead the University of Maine at Augusta past the University of Maine at Presque Isle 65-53 in a men’s basketball contest at University College on Thursday night.

Dan Duplissie scored 13 points for UM-Augusta and Jonathan Hill added 11 points and 13 rebounds.

Travis Henry led the Owls with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Anthony Wingate scored 12 points and Michael Latchford added 11 points.
