Falt gets hot late as MDI stops Bucks

BAR HARBOR – Susan Falt scored all 13 of her points in the fourth quarter and overtime to lift Mount Desert Island to a 69-61 girls basketball victory over Bucksport Friday night.

Amethyst Cousins paced the Trojans with 19 points and 10 rebounds. Lindsey Lewis scored 12 points and Amber Orman added 10 points and five assists.

Bri Kone led the Golden Bucks with 21 points. Katie Hurd scored 20 points and Lindsey Gordon chipped in 12 points.
