BREWER – Sean Babin netted four goals Saturday as Orono held off Brewer for a 7-4 high school hockey victory at the T.J. Ryan Center.

Tony Raymond tallied two goals and three assists and Chris McConnon chipped in with a goal and two assists for the 11-2-1 Red Riots. Jared Buzzell recorded 31 saves on 35 shots.

Reid McLaughlin scored two goals and Prentiss Swett had two assists for the 11-3 Witches. Nick Risser and Dylan Fitzpatrick tallied a goal and an assist each, while Aaron Saunders and Kayla Dunn combined to stop 22 of 29 shots.

Presque Isle 11, Foxcroft Acad. 1

At Presque Isle, Brandon Daigle tallied four goals and two assists as Presque Isle cruised by Foxcroft Academy.

Spencer Deschene and Greg Cyr each posted two goals and an assist for Presque Isle. Jason Martin, Ben McPherson and Brennan Shaw each added a goal. Ethan Hill made 13 saves on 14 shots for the 8-4-1 Wildcats.

David White scored for the Ponies off a Chase Hutchinson assist. Chad Phillips stopped 20 of 31 shots for 0-10-1 Foxcroft Academy.

Bangor 5, Lawrence 1

At Sukee Arena, Winslow, Christian Dionne tallied two goals and two assists to power Bangor past Lawrence of Fairfield.

Nick George notched a goal and an assist, and Jon Hyatt and Steve Seccareccia netted a goal each. Alex Mooers added two assists and Andrew Riley made 21 saves on 22 shots for the 8-4-1 Rams.

Josh Mitchell scored the goal for the 6-6-1 Bulldogs. Chris Caron stopped 26 of 31 shots.

JV: Bangor 7-0

John Bapst 6, Hampden Acad. 1

At Sawyer Arena in Bangor, Casey Hull scored three goals to power the Crusaders to victory.

Neal LaFrance registered two goals and an assist and Chase Huckestein had a goal and an assist for 10-4 John Bapst. Tyler Smith, Ryan Hayes, Travis Poulin, Ethan Sale and Josh Hunnefeld contributed assists.

Derek Duff made 12 saves on 13 shots.

Wesley Woods scored on a Josh Tardif assist for 2-11 Hampden Academy. Matt Albert made 13 saves on 19 shots.
