Caribou boys hold off Hawks

CARIBOU – Jaryd Rossignol made two free throws in the final minute Saturday to put Caribou up by three points and lift the Vikings to a 51-48 boys basketball victory over Hermon.

Kyle Corrigan netted 17 points for Caribou and Ben Rosser added 12.

Zach Deabay tallied 16 points to pace Hermon. Derek Helms chipped in with 10 points.

At Sukee Arena, Winslow, Christian Dionne tallied two goals and two assists to power Bangor past Lawrence of Fairfield.

Nick George notched a goal and an assist, and Jon Hyatt and Steve Seccareccia netted a goal each. Alex Mooers added two assists and Andrew Riley made 21 saves on 22 shots for the 8-4-1 Rams.

Josh Mitchell scored the goal for the 6-6-1 Bulldogs. Chris Caron stopped 26 of 31 shots.
