The University of Maine at Fort Kent has hired Shawn Graham as academic counselor in the Academic and Counseling Services Department.
He is a UMFK alumni and Fort Kent native and received a bachelor’s degree in social service in May 1996. He has been employed by Community Care, Aroostook Mental Health Center, Aroostook Mental Health Center, and St. John Valley Mentoring.
Northern Maine Community College welcomed Paul LaJoie as a new member of the faculty in the spring 2007 semester.
He is an NMCC alumni and has joined the trade and technical occupations department as an automotive technology instructor where he will teach automotive electricity, automotive electronics, automotive heating and air conditioning, and motor vehicle inspection.
He worked for 10 years as a service technician at Whited Ford in Presque Isle and is a state-certified inspection mechanic.
