FORT KENT – Nicole Corbin scored 23 points as the University of Maine-Fort Kent cruised past Vermont Technical College 91-48 Sunday in women’s basketball action. The Bengals also beat Fisher College of Boston 61-53 on Saturday.
On Saturday, Ashley Ames had 11 points and 17 rebounds for UM-Fort Kent and Dana Lemon added 11 points and seven steals. Corbin and Amanda Davis each scored 11 points.
Aiyana Spencer led Fisher with 20 points.
On Sunday, Ames tallied 21 points, 15 rebounds and six blocked shots for the Bengals. Lemon had 17 points and five assists and Traci Weatherhead added 15 points.
Kelley Moran led Vermont Tech with 22 points.
