PITTSFIELD – Action on grants for Stein Park, a continuation of the airport vegetation removal project and a bid for a new police cruiser will keep town councilors busy Tuesday, Feb. 6, at their 7:30 p.m. meeting.
The council will also hold a public hearing on traffic amendments to Peltoma Avenue and Pooler Road, according to a draft agenda, as well as re-affirm a liquor license originally granted last October to Town Tavern on Route 100 South.
The council will also:
. Act on a $17,794 purchase of a new town police cruiser.
. Seek proposals for paving a new walking path and new picnic tables at Stein Park.
. Hear updates from Town Manager Kathryn Ruth on gravel roads, a Pittsfield truck route, junk dealers, and the Pittsfield Historical Society’s Moses Martin Project.
