A Bangor store will be one of two in Maine holding a special midnight unveiling of the Marvel comic-book adaptation of stories from Stephen King’s epic “The Dark Tower” series.

Top Shelf Coins and Comics, at 25 Central St., will be open from midnight to 1 a.m. Wednesday for the debut of “The Dark Tower: The Gunslinger Born” comic adaptation written by Peter David and illustrated by Jae Lee.
