SEAN BABIN
The Orono High School senior hockey forward had a pair of hat tricks in helping the Red Riots improve their Class B hockey record to 14-2-1. He had three goals as Orono topped Presque Isle 5-2, and added three more goals as Orono avenged one of its two losses with a 7-5 victory over Winslow on Tuesday night.
Small School (Classes C-D)
JAMES BERRY
The Orono High School track and field standout won three events Saturday during a meet at the University of Maine field house. Berry closed in on the EMITL record of 13 feet, 8 1/2 inches in the pole vault with a winning effort of 13-6. He also won the 60 hurdles (7.93 seconds) and the 200 dash (24.37) for the Class C Red Riots.

BAILLIE BOGGS
Boggs, a 5-10 sophomore guard for the Rockland girls basketball team, poured in 19 points as the Tigers picked up a key 60-45 win over MCI of Pittsfield Tuesday. She added eight points in a 45-37 victory over Mount View of Thorndike on Feb. 1.
Small School (Classes C-D)
RACHEL FOSTER
The 6-foot-2 Houlton junior center led the Shiretowners in two wins last week. Foster racked up 24 points and 14 rebounds in a 58-39 win over Stearns Saturday, avenging an early season loss. She also had 27 points, 14 rebounds and 13 blocks in a 46-27 win over Class B Caribou Tuesday. Foster also led Houlton with 10 points in a 43-33 loss to Class B Presque Isle.
