Corrigan, Vikings sink Shires

CARIBOU – Kyle Corrigan knocked down a 3-point buzzer beater to lift the Caribou Vikings to a 42-39 high school boys basketball victory over the Houlton Shiretowners Wednesday.

Corrigan finished with a game-high 26 points for the Vikings.

Josh Beals and Ryan Hill each tallied 12 points to pace the Shiretowners.

At Eastport, Aaron Sullivan scored 12 of his game-high 20 points in the second half, during which Shead outscored Narraguagus of Harrington 34-17 to pull away for the victory.

Dana Mitchell tossed in 15 points, including eight in the second half, for the Tigers. Wayne Clossey chipped in with 10 points.

Blake Chase led the Knights with seven points.

Caitlyn Esancy paced the Tigers with 20 points.
