Michaud leads Stearns girls past Mattanawcook

MILLINOCKET – Deanna Michaud scored 13 of her game-high 24 points in the fourth quarter to lead the Stearns Minutemen to a 54-46 schoolgirl basketball victory over the Mattanawcook Academy Lynx Friday night.

Mikaela Rosebush and Amy Collinsworth tossed in nine points apiece for the Minutemen in the pointworthy win.

Michelle Paul led the Lynx with 18 points.

Karyn King chipped in with nine points for the Vikings.
