The Milbridge Congregational Church last month named the Rev. Eric Kelley of Jonesport interim pastor. Kelley spent his childhood in Jonesport before attending the University of Maine, where he received a bachelor’s degree in education. He earned a master’s degree from Bangor Theological Seminary and his Ph.D. from Andover Newton Theological School in Newton, Mass. He served as pastor of the Williston-West United Church of Christ in Portland for 20 years before retiring to Washington County.
