CARIBOU – The Nordic Heritage Sport Club will host the Aroostook County Cross Country Skiing Championships at the Nordic Heritage Center on Tuesday at 2:30 p.m.
The 5K freestyle individual event will include high school teams from Caribou, Central Aroostook of Mars Hill, Fort Fairfield, Fort Kent, Madawaska, Presque Isle, and Van Buren.
The race will serve as a preview for the Class C State Skiing Championships that will take place at Nordic Heritage Center on Feb. 19-21. Racers will ski the same course and format as the state championship race.
