CHICAGO – Falmouth High School senior midfielder Jordan Hale has been named the Gatorade Thirst Quencher Maine Boys Soccer Player of the Year.

Hale will join other state players of the year as finalists for the Gatorade National Boys Soccer Player of the Year. State winners are selected not only for their athletic performance, but also for meeting high academic achievement standards while demonstrating exemplary personal character on and off the field.

Hale led Falmouth to a 15-1-2 record and the Class B state championship. He had a school-record 18 assists and also scored five goals.
