MILO – A new restaurant in this Piscataquis County town has provided jobs for some 10 people.
The opening of Elaine’s Cafe in the so-called A.E. Horne Building will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today with a ribbon-cutting.
Owned and operated by Elaine Poulin of Milo, the restaurant seats 46 people and is open for breakfast and lunch from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday.
Poulin, wife of Milo Police Chief Michael Poulin, plans to add a take-out window in the near future and extend the operation to include dinner.
