ORONO – Police are asking drivers using Stillwater Avenue on Saturday, Feb. 17, to slow down as they approach Taylor Road and to be on the lookout for cross-country skiers crossing the road.
The Caribou Bog Race will be held that morning, and racers are expected to be crossing the Stillwater between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Police said a crowd should form in the area where skiers will be crossing, warranting even more caution.
