CASTINE – Maine Maritime Academy’s Department of Arts and Sciences will host a lecture on global warming by Dr. Kristina Dahl at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 15, in Delano Auditorium.
Dahl has studied climate change at the Scripps Institute of Oceanography in California and Woods Hole Oceanic Institute in Massachusetts for 10 years. She was selected to be part of a program instituted by former Vice President Al Gore to raise awareness of global warming.
The presentation will last about an hour and will be followed by a question-and-answer session. Admission is free and open to the public.
