Real estate awards
BANGOR – Realty of Maine owner and designated broker Dave Sleeper presented awards to his top 2006 residential real estate sales producers at the company’s awards luncheon held Feb. 7 at the Sea Dog Conference Center in Bangor.
Top solo agent was Dani O’Halloran with 2006 sales of more than $6 million.
The Top Team Award was presented to Manon and Team – Manon de Carlo, Tammy Smith and assistant Marion Van Arsdale. Manon and Team sold more than $19 million in 2006.
In addition to Manon and Team, these teams in order of sales received awards: the Esty Team, Emily Ellis Team, Brown-Hammond Team, Diana and Scott Patterson and The Marsh Realtors.
The Rookie of the Year Award went to Tara Roy, with sales of more than $2.5 million.
Receiving an Executive Club Award for sales in excess of $2 million were Jon Cota, Travis Coffin, Jay Mishou, Dolly Perkins, Susan Lane, LuAnne Adams, Shari Garland, Terry Morse, Tara Roy, Pete Drinkwater, Tim Schuck and Steve Shelton.
Production Excellence Awards for sales $1-2 million went to Dale Dubay, Monica Giordano, Deb Cowperthwaite, Puzz Caswell, Alan Wood, Jane Hamilton, Sheldon Beal, Warren Heartquist, Wendy Tsoulas, Alison Cote, Steve Waterman, Darlene Dubose, Irene Bryant, Esther Darres, Heather Sutherland, Theresa Wilbur, Thelma Bowen, Moe Schinck, John Cheney, Kara Boyington, Tricia Largay and Brian Lachapelle.
The Spirit Award, presented this year for the first time, went to Tricia Largay. The honoree best exemplifies a vigorous, compassionate and optimistic attitude, honorably represents the company in the marketplace and gives back to the community.

BANGOR – U.S. Cellular recently named Chrissy Doyle as the company’s small business expert at its Bangor store located at 3 Mid Mall Boulevard.
Doyle is one of 500 associates trained as part of the company’s small business team, which will focus on providing small businesses with the individual attention they require and cellular solutions that are specific to their business.
“Through her training with U.S. Cellular, Chrissy has become an expert on the wide array of needs of small businesses and will do an excellent job serving this unique client,” said Jim Holmes, director of sales for U.S. Cellular in New England.
As Bangor’s small business expert, Doyle will provide guidance to store associates and offer in-store analysis and solutions to meet the different needs of small businesses.
