ROCKLAND – Police raided a Grace Street apartment Tuesday and arrested two occupants for cocaine possession.

Gabriel Lang, 24 and Alexandra Bourgeois, 18, were each charged with possession of cocaine. The 11 a.m. search of the apartment yielded a small amount of cocaine, scales, plastic baggies and other drug related evidence.

The residence is near the city’s recreation center and considered within a drug-free zone, Deputy Police Chief Wallace Tower said Wednesday.

The investigation was conducted by the Rockland Police Department, Knox County Sheriff’s Office and with the assistance of the Lincoln County Drug Task Force.

Lang and Bourgeois were booked at the Knox County Jail and later released on $500 bail.
