PRESQUE ISLE – Dylan Collins scored the winning goal 4:24 into the third period off an assist from Brennen Shaw to lift No. 4 Presque Isle to a 4-3 Class B quarterfinal hockey victory over No. 5 John Bapst of Bangor on Monday.

Ben McPherson netted two goals in the first period to put Presque Isle ahead early. Brandon Daigle added a goal and grabbed an assist while Greg Cyr tallied two assists. Ethan Hill stopped 18 of 21 shots for the 12-7-1 Wildcats.

Casey Hull registered a pair of goals for John Bapst off two assists from Travis Poulin. Neil LaFrance added a third-period goal off passes from Chase Huckestein and Alex Yates. Derek Duff made 26 saves on 30 shots for the 14-7 Crusaders.
