A Feb. 22 column by Stephen Allen, “America’s ‘golden age’ is all lost,” contained inaccurate information about a single mother killed in Iraq. A single mother from Illinois, not Ohio, serving in the National Guard was killed in Iraq in 2004, leaving behind a young daughter.
