MACHIAS – Three people were arrested Tuesday after police found drugs, firearms and cash at a home in Addison.
Arrested and charged in the incident was Darwin Golding, 46, of Willow Street in Addison. He was charged with possession of firearms by a felon and drug trafficking.
Also arrested at the residence was Marion Foss, 30, who was charged with unlawful possession of drugs, and Jeremy Foss, 20, who was charged with violating his probation.
On Tuesday night, Deputy Travis Willey decided to do a probation check on Jeremy Foss and discovered marijuana. Willey then secured the residence, obtained a warrant and called for assistance. The officers seized drugs, firearms and $4,000 in cash.
Washington County Sheriff Donnie Smith said that additional charges are pending.
Deputy Randy Perry from the Washington County Sheriff’s Department, Mike Crabtree of the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency and Troopers Jeff Ingemi, Andy Foss and Alden Bustard and his K-9 Zack assisted at the scene.
“I was pleased with the work of Deputy Willey, who worked to facilitate this warrant,” Smith said in a prepared release. “Also the total cooperating with MDEA and the Maine State Police. Lt. Chris Coleman and I are determined to see our agency continuing this type [of] joint collaboration in [the] fight against crime.”
