Vermont’s Mike Lonergan, who led his team to a 15-1 conference record and an upset of Boston College, was named Coach of the Year. Boston University’s Tyler Morris was named Rookie of the Year, and Albany’s Brian Lillis was named Defensive Player of the Year.
The All-Conference team included: Wilson, Jason Siggers of Albany, Mike Trimboli of Vermont, Chris Holm of Vermont and Bo Taylor of Hartford. Maine’s Kevin Reed was named to the second team for the second time in his career.
Wilson joins Northeastern’s Reggie Lewis (1985, 1986 and 1987), Drexel’s Malik Rose (1995, 1996) Hofstra’s Speedy Claxton (1998, 2000) and Vermont’s Taylor Coppenrath (2003, 2004 and 2005) as multiple winners.
