UMaine plans bus trip for hockey series at UMass

ORONO – The University of Maine athletic department is offering a bus trip to the Hockey East quarterfinals this weekend at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. The first game will be at 7 p.m. Friday.

The bus will depart from the Alfond Arena parking lot at 11 a.m. on Friday. The cost of $115 per person includes a seat on the bus and tickets to games one and two. Hotel rooms are reserved at the Howard Johnson in Amherst and are $99, plus tax per night.

If the series ends in two games, the bus will return early Sunday morning. If the series goes three games, the bus will return immediately after the conclusion of the third game.
