BREMEN – Financial aid is available from Maine Audubon for several residential sessions this summer at the Hog Island Audubon Center.

The summer 2007 sessions include:

For adults ages 18 and up: Joy of Birding, June 19-22; Field Ornithology, June 24-30; Natural History of the Maine Coast, July 8-14; Educators Workshop Week, July 15-21; Elderhostel Week, Aug. 12-18; Nature Writing Workshop, Aug. 12-18; Yoga Retreat, Aug. 26-29; Naturalizing by Kayak, Aug 26-29; Bird Migration and Conservation, Sept. 9-15.

For families (parents or grandparents and children 5-11): Family Camp, July 1-6.

For teens ages 14-17: Coastal Maine Bird Studies, June 24-30; Coastal Maine by Kayak, July 1-6; Coastal Maine Natural History, July 8-14.

The Audubon Center is located on a 330-acre coastal wildlife sanctuary, and people ages 14 and up who are interested in the natural world and demonstrate financial need are encouraged to apply by e-mailing camps@maineaudubon.org or by calling 781-2330, ext. 215.
