BANGOR – Skip Nitardy, the head coach of the Bangor Y Barracudas swimming team, has been named the Maine YMCA Swim League’s 2007 Coach of the Year.
The Barracudas finished second overall in last weekend’s YMCA state championships.
Nitardy, a native of Oswego, N.Y., is also the Bangor Y’s Senior Director of Aquatics and Competitive Swimming.
