Indoor miniature golf

HAMPDEN – Tired of winter? Longing for a game of golf? Dollars for Scholars of Hampden, Newburgh and Winterport will hold an indoor miniature golf tournament on Saturday, March 31, at Hampden Academy, 24 Main Road North.

Prizes in a variety of categories will be awarded. The cost to play is $20 for four golfers. Putters and balls will be provided. To reserve tee times, call Jamie Roy at 862-2843. Proceeds benefit Dollars for Scholars.

Brewer Little League

BREWER – Signup for Brewer Little League will be held:

. 6-8 p.m. Monday, March 19, at Brewer High School.

. 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 20, at Brewer High School.

Players who are 10 by April 30, and ages 11 or 12 may try out for Little League. Nine-year-olds and those not assigned to a Little League team will play in the Minor Leagues. Seven- and 8-year-olds play in the Farm League.

Tryout dates and times will be available during signup.

Bucksport Little League

BUCKSPORT – Registration for Bucksport Little League will be held 9 a.m.-noon Saturday, March 17, in the main lobby at Bucksport High School.

Participants must be at least 9 years old, but not older than 12, by May 1.

Bring official birth certificate obtained from town office or state.

Returning players should bring the $30 fee, plus $15 for each additional sibling.

Tryouts will be held 9 a.m.-noon Saturday, March 24, in the gym at Bucksport High School:

. 9 a.m., age 9.

. 10 a.m., age 10.

. 11 a.m., ages 11 and 12.

A makeup session will be held 5-6 p.m. Monday, March 26, in the gym.

New or returning players also may register on these dates.
