DYER BROOK – Residents of Dyer Brook will be asked to approve an approximately $121,000 municipal budget and fill a total of four vacant municipal and school board seats during their annual town meeting on Monday evening.

Town Clerk Florence Hardy said Thursday that this year’s budget is down approximately $20,000 over last year.

All of the candidates who are vying for municipal or school board seats are running unopposed this year, she said.

Hardy is running unopposed for a one-year term as town clerk, and town Treasurer Randy Curry also faces no opposition in his quest for another one-year appointment to his position.

Incumbent Richard Lyons is seeking a three-year term on the Board of Selectmen, and Steve Edwards is running unopposed for a three-year seat on the Community School District 9 school board.

Polls will open at the town office at 10 a.m. and close at 6 p.m. The annual town meeting will follow in the same location at 7 p.m.
