University of New England’s Katie Morin was named the Commonwealth Coast Conference co-Player of the Week for Softball. Morin went 16-for-32 in 10 games in Tucson, Ariz. She scored 11 times and drove in four runs.
Andrew Wood
Saint Joseph’s College junior catcher Andrew Wood was honored as the North Atlantic Conference Baseball Player of the Week. Wood had 15 hits in 26 at bats with three doubles, 2 triples and 13 RBIs in a 7-0 week.
Andrew Keirstead
Saint Joseph’s College freshman pitcher Andrew Keirstead was named the Baseball Rookie of the Week by the North Atlantic Conference. Keirstead pitched eight innings to earn a 15-2 win over Drew University.
