I am enjoying the feigned indignation, by this paper and others, when they “discovered” that the hiring and firing of political employees was political. Imagine that. I think it would have been useful if you had put the firing of eight U.S. attorneys, by this administration, into some sort of context.
For instance, the last administration fired all 93 U.S. attorneys without reason, which, by the way, is the norm with most administrations. We may not like it but many positions, federal and state, in government are political appointees who serve at the pleasure of the person appointing them. What is most annoying, to me, is the indifference displayed by this paper, and most politicians, to simple facts and truths.
