Watch party set for UM hockey game

ORONO – The University of Maine athletic department is hosting a party Friday night at The Sports Caf? on 19 Mill St., where fans can watch the telecast of the university’s hockey team facing St. Cloud State in the first round of the NCAA Division I Tournament.

Game time is 6 p.m., and the watch party will feature ESPNU’s live broadcast of the game on 12 large-screen televisions, along with prizes for some lucky fans in attendance. For every goal Maine scores, a fan will win a set of four lift tickets to Mt. Abram Family Resort in Greenwood.

Seating is limited, so fans are encouraged to arrive by 5 p.m. There is no cover charge, and there will be a live band performing after the game at 10 p.m. For more information, call The Sports Caf? at 866-4061.
