CHANDLER, Ariz. – Josh Mackey had two doubles and drove in two runs to lead the University of Southern Maine to an 8-6 college baseball win over Gustavus Adolphus Friday.
Jordan Yanni led the Huskies with two doubles, a single and an RBI. Eddie Skeffington hit a two-run homer and Ryan Bourque drove in two runs.
Shea Roehrkasse had a double, two singles and two RBIs to lead Gustavus.

Hamilton sweeps Bates
At Port Charlotte, Fla., the Continentals of Clinton, N.Y., posted 7-1 and 14-6 victories the Bobcats of Lewiston.
In the opener, John Moore led Hamilton with four hits, and Alex Augustyn had three.
Brian Mahoney had an RBI single and Brian Buckley a double for the Bobcats.
In the second game, a five-run fourth inning helped Hamilton race out to a 14-0 lead.
Matt Devlin rapped a three-run double for Bates.
Southern Maine wins two
At Chandler, Ariz., Thursday, Ryan Borque walked with the bases loaded to force home the winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning as the University of Southern Maine downed Albright 5-4 to sweep a doubleheader. Southern Maine won the opener 20-2.
In the first game, freshman Collin Henry allowed seven hits and no walks in five innings and drove in four runs on a single and a double.
Borque and Mark Schmidy each chipped in three RBIs, and Josh Mackey had a two-run homer in a five-run seventh inning.
In the second game, Nick Vadaro had an RBI single and a double, and Borque added a double and an RBI.

At Castine, Garrett Hutchins scored three goals and tallied two assists to lead Maine Maritime Academy past Thomas College.
Luke McPartlin had two goals and three assists, and Nate Bolduc and Brandon Hamilton each recorded two goals and two assists. Patrick Jones made seven saves for the 1-1 Mariners.
Mike Ross had two goals and M.J. Cain notched 24 saves for the 0-1 Terriers of Waterville.
Softball
Southern Maine drops two
At Fort Myers, Fla., Thursday, Southern Maine dropped its season opener 9-1 to the University of Wisconsin-Superior and fell 7-6 in nine innings to Chicago in the Gene Cusic Classic.
In the first game, Wisconsin-Superior used a five-run sixth inning to pull away for the win.
Erin Kegley drove in four runs on a double and a single, and Brooke Bailey added a double, single, and two RBIs for the Yellowjackets.
Katie Martell led the Huskies with a double and a run.
In the second game, Kathleen Duffy smacked a single down the left side to drive in the winning run for Chicago.
Martell hit a three-run homer in the top of the seventh and an RBI single for the Huskies. Vanessa Pineros added two doubles and two RBIs.

Southern Maine gets first win
At Fort Myers, Fla., Megan Stanley and Evon Hudspeth each drove in a run to lead the University of Southern Maine to a 5-4 win over Thomas College. The Huskies dropped their second game 8-0 to Hamline.
In the first game, Hudspeth hit a two-out triple to score Anita Dixon and give Southern Maine an insurance run. Junior Kristina Grondin earned her first pitching win, giving up three hits and retired nine-consecutive batters starting in the fifth inning.
Kristy Clement led Thomas with an RBI single.
In the second game, Hamline took advantage of six Southern Maine errors to earn the win in five innings.
Betsy Kralick smacked a three-run homer and Holly Wibord and Brenna Healy each had two hits for the Pipers.
Dixon led the Huskies with two single.s
