Voting for municipal officers in Alton will take place at the annual town meeting at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 31, in the municipal building at 3352 Bennoch Road.

Voters will be asked to elect one selectman for a three-year term and two school board members each for three-year terms. Residents also will vote whether to appropriate $10,000 for town roads and $35,000 for a property valuation.

This year’s amount appropriated to the budget from property taxes is about $57,000. A complete copy of the town warrant is available at the town office.

The registrar of voters will be at the municipal building at 9:30 a.m. on town meeting day to register new voters.
