Online registration for the TD Banknorth Beach to Beacon 10K Road Race in August has closed.
As of Monday, 4,700 runners had registered for the Aug. 4 race in Cape Elizabeth, well ahead of the 2,900 who were registered at this point last year.
The field is limited to 5,500 participants, and runners who still wish to participate can log onto www.beach2beacon.org for more information on how to obtain paper registration forms, which will be available in early April.
