PRESQUE ISLE – The University of Maine at Presque Isle will host a “Demystifying Graduate School” workshop 4-5:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, in Room 118 of the Campus Center.
Presenters will include Robin Audesse of the University of Southern Maine and Scott Delcourt, an associate dean at the University of Maine.
The workshop is designed for students who intend to apply for graduate or law school but have not yet begun the process. The following topics will be addressed:
. How is the admission process different from undergraduate school?
. When should students start thinking about graduate school?
. What should students look for in a graduate program?
. When should students start contacting graduate schools and what questions should they ask?
. What do graduate schools look for in an application?
. What should students consider in accepting an admissions offer?
