I love puns – good ones, bad ones, indifferent ones! And the headlines in the BDN that first attract my attention are the ones that use these witty twists on words. I’m sure you must have a “pun editor”, or perhaps each department has its own contest for the best headline pun?

Today’s headline “Blue-hoo” (BDN 4/6/07) when the Bears were defeated by MSU, and another on the Lifestyle page “Back in the Sandals” were just great examples that called for a classic groan. I look forward to future efforts.
