COLUMBIA, S.C. – Army Pvt. Andrew Ashland graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson.

A 2006 graduate of Lawrence High School in Fairfield, Ashland is the son of Raymond Ashland of Fairfield and grandson of Arthur Humphrey of Brooks.
