I’ve been waiting anxiously for the great minds in Augusta to come up with the obvious solution to the crisis-of-the week, which apparently this week is jail overcrowding. Since they haven’t, here it is in one simple sentence. Develop alternative sentencing, and eliminate jail time for non-violent offenders.
