MILO – The town of Milo and the Piscataquis County Economic Development Council will host a downtown revitalization meeting at 6:30 p.m. Monday, April 23, at the town office. All interested residents of Milo are encouraged to attend.

PCEDC Community Development Specialist Sheila Grant has conducted door-to-door visits with many of the downtown business owners. These discussions led to a list of potential projects Milo residents would like to see completed.

The meeting will include a discussion on how downtown revitalization benefits all residents, small-business owners, professionals and larger employers. Organizers hope members of Three Rivers Kiwanis, the Milo Garden Club, civic organizations, business owners, student groups and others will all participate.

There will be an opportunity to view a list of potential short-term and long-term projects in the downtown area, and to vote on those that individuals feel should get top priority.

Walk-ins will be welcome at the meeting, but registering in advance will allow organizers to plan space and refreshments.

To register, or for more information, contact Sheila Grant at PCEDC, at 564-3638, ext. 2, or e-mail sgrant@pcedc.org.
