BELFAST – Organizers of the first Maine Celtic Celebration set for July 19-22 have invited the community to a public forum to discuss the summer event.

The forum will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, at the University of Maine Hutchinson Center Auditorium.

Those interested in finding out more about the Maine Celtic Celebration are urged to attend the informal meeting. The celebration welcomes anyone who wants to be a volunteer, participant, vendor, sponsor, or who has an interest in helping plan and-or carry out this event.

Noel Bonam, director of the Maine Bureau of Multi-Cultural Affairs, will attend to discuss the celebration.

Events are planned throughout the four days of the event and help is needed to ensure a successful celebration.

For information, visit the Maine Celtic Celebration Web site at www.MaineCelticCelebration.com, e-mail celticmaine@yahoo.com, or write to P.O. Box 122 Belfast 04915.
